Louis Kanganis, CEO

Former CEO and Co-Founder of Spring Street Networks, a VC-backed provider of private-label online personals solutions for a network of more than 200 media companies including AOL, Primedia, Hearst Newspapers, RealNetworks, and others. With a database of over 3 million registered members, Spring Street was sold to a competitor in 2005.  In addition to his work as CEO, CFO, and VP Corporate Development with several other technology startups, Louis has over ten years of experience in the securities industry as an analyst, portfolio manager and private investor for PaineWebber, Schroders PLC, and Steinhardt Partners, among others. Louis has an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a BA in Geophysics from Columbia College.

Ahti Heinla, Co-Founder, CTO

Ahti is a founding partner of Ambient Sound Investments and the former Chief Technical Architect for Skype.  As DailyPerfect’s CTO, Ahti sets the Company’s technical direction and has primary input into the development of our core profiling algorithms and architecture.  Ahti is named as an “inventor” in several patents and patent applications in the fields of peer-to-peer networks and other software systems.

Asko Seeba, Co-Founder, Director of Engineering

Asko is DailyPerfect’s Director of Engineering, responsible for managing the Company’s team of software engineers and all product development.  A former Skype employee, Asko was responsible for growing and managing the engineering and project management teams for Skype for mobile platforms.  Asko holds an MSc. in computer science from the University of Tartu.

Jaan Tallinn, Adviser

As a founding partner of Ambient Sound Investments, Jaan works on the overall strategy for ASI, as well as on researching and reviewing potential portfolio companies.  He is considered to be one of the foremost experts on P2P technologies, and together with Ahti Heinla worked out the core elements for Kazaa and Skype. He continues to be involved with Skype, where he is one of the lead system architects.  Jaan holds a degree in theoretical physics from the University of Tartu.

INVESTORS

Ambient Sound Investments (ASI, www.asi.ee) was established in 2003 as an equal partnership by four founding engineers at Skype Technologies to hold a minority stake in Skype. At the end of 2005 ASI sold its stake to eBay and now operates as a private investment vehicle. Today ASI is a team of about 10 people managing 100 million Euros of the partners' assets and growing an independent investment vehicle spanning multiple generations.
